dear diary,

i'm feeling lucky! i woke up early this morning (only cause i couldnt go back to sleep, really) and left my friend's place early after a night recording a new song... and found a book! on the streets, staring at me and i stared back wondering why it was there on the ground BRAND NEW and all... it was the readers fuckin digest step by step guide to sewing and it's brilliant! it's the book ive been looking for. i'm so happy. feels like a good day ahead too :)

i went to brick lane today (again, that's 2 days in a row) n checked out the sunday upmarket and backyard market... n found these korean girls drawing stuff on caps and pumps.. superbly cute!

yeah! and n if u know me well enough ud know that i seriously do cut/dye my own hair cause i dont see the point of paying 50 bucks for something i enjoy doing myself (re: self-destruction) xx

londonedge

dear diary,

londonedge went well - our first fashion trade show ever and a lil debut (as we'd like to call it) of osixnine in london. i love the fashion around me in this city, its especially vibrant, fresh and innovative. you dont have to be afraid to express yourself with fashion because your style (no matter how extravagant it is) is being appreciated by everybody on the streets, in the tubes and at parties. i can find inspiration just about everywhere, its so full of life and excitement. i now find that i miss the city if a day goes by where i dont travel pass zone 1. anyway, a couple of brands that stood out at londonedge were Iron Fist and Criminal Damage... really cool designs i wouldnt mind putting on myself. and feel sexy in it.

just back from singing at electro night SYNTHETIC @ Cavendish Arms, Stockwell. It was good fun! I've uploaded pics on my facebook. Also met 2 photographers i might be working with this coming week... woot! cant wait :)

boys on boys

dear diary,

took a trip via the river into london today n stopped at southbank. tried looking for some free exhibits of the architecture fest n then walked to trafalgar n stumbled upon a freaking gay parade! hallelujah! and i couldnt believe, of all days, i forgot to bring my camera today. after slapping myself in the face, i looked around gaping and enjoyed the scene - pride london it was - hot men of all colour in all colours of the rainbow, w biceps u wont see on 'real' men, walking around w their tush hanging out. bliss! y cant straight men be a lil more... proud?

hmm...wld love to have 2 boys at a go ;)

smoothies and radiohead

yday started doing smoothies by LOVE SMOOTHIES in order to get in free at the radiohead concert in victoria park! for 2 days in a row too. get free food & some cash on top of that, not too bad a deal... fun working w those guys... today's another smoothie day! xx


p/s: my fave so far is the berry-go-round... fresh orange juice + berries! yum!
